Omakase @ Hanare

My hubby brought me to a retaurant at Double Tree Hotel, named 'Hanare'. It serves Japanese cuisine. I think my hubby knew that I always ant to try 'special' food, that's why brought me there...so sweet of him.

Try something out of the menu, Omakase. Omakase means "Its up to you" (chef's choice, or literally 'entrusting' in Japanese). It's when the patron leaves the choice of dish up to the chef himself. Not about quantity, is about QUALITY of food. And I always enjoy Quality food.

So let's Omakase!

Fresh made tofu with fresh Ikura (salmon roe).

Omakase Zensai (Appertizer) - Begai (Snail) and abalone sashimi.

Assorted fine seaweed, yam jelly with vege and crunchy mustard flowers with mushroom.

Omakase Sashimi, assorted fresh raw fish.

Baked oyster with mushroom.

The tomato was firm with a very thin skin, juicy and incredibly sweet!
